This home is really becoming a beautiful thing. They’ve been pouring the path to the dock, building the deck and putting up the siding with the wood trim. It’s going to be very lovely when it’s all finished.

We’ve gotten the foundation all poured and ready to begin framing. The stone retaining walls are set in place and rolls of grass seeds have been laid out to prevent the grading from sliding away with the spring rains.

We’re working on installing the white oak timbers. It’s really a beautiful home that we’re seeing being built and these white oak timbers really enhance the beauty of the design.

The white oak is so heavy and large that specialized equipment has to be implemented to place them.

The rafters for the roof are being built and installed. You can see the shape of the whole home now. It’s going to be a beauty.

The framing is all set and now we’re insulating and getting all the plumbing finished up. Installing tubs before we start to put up drywall and tile is a part of that. We’re also getting the siding and decking up and ready to paint or stain. It’s really beginning to look like a home.

The house has footers poured now. We’re adding gravel for equipment. Digging for septic install to run the rough plumbing and to really start to see a home taking shape. The footers show us where support walls will be and the rough plumbing lake kitchens, laundry rooms and baths. Can you envision this house yet?
