This home has a foundation now and the framing of the basement and burying of the septic tanks has given the landscape a finished look. The views are spectacular.

The basement is all framed with the floor for the main level above. The main level framing is going up and you can see the house taking shape. The layout is apparent and next up will be the loft level with roofing going on.
The story of a home continues to unfold: The second story is taking shape. Framing and exterior walls are almost finished. The deck is started and next up the roof will get shingles before we move on to Hardie siding and the interior getting drywalled.
This site is really starting to become a home construction area instead of just removing tons of rock and making walls with it. We’ve got the poured walls for the basement up and water proofed. The rough-in plumbing is in place and we’ve back filled up to the poured walls. Next up will be the foundation getting poured and the beginning of framing.
We’re adjusting the driveway and parking area by grading more of the area around them and altering the steepness of the land. Foundations have been poured and now the basement is being framed out and septic lines run. It’s really starting to come together.
Prep for the foundation to be poured, you can see the poured walls and mesh grid with the rebar and rough plumbing all set for the concrete.
The septic system is in a three-step configuration to fit the size of the house and the grading of the site.
You get to walk around the site and see how the grading of the driveway and parking are laid out.

The story of a home continues to unfold: Now that the foundation is set we are framing out the basement and main level of the house. You can start to see the layout of the different rooms and the locations of the doors and windows.
This site had tons of large rocks that are now being put to use in creating walls to assist with soil retention while looking very lovely. We’ve staked out the footers and had them poured. The shape of this home will be apparent very soon now. Next we’ll see the poured walls of the basement go up.
The poured walls are getting waterproofed, septic plumbing is being run and grading is going on. The site is starting to look like a home will be here and the rock is being put to good use in building walls around the property to hold up the soil and make it look nice.

Here you can see the waterproofing that has been added to the poured walls and the earth that’s being pushed back up to them for the main floor to be at ground level.

The wall forms were put into place and the concrete poured into them creating foundation walls for the basement. Then we backfill around the sides of them and put in plumbing before pouring the foundation slab.
