The story of a home continues to unfold: You can see the poured walls and foundation all set. The rough in plumbing is set in place and all backfilling is just about complete.

This home to be had a rocky start, being that the lot had an abundant amount rock that we dug up. As you can see some of it is being put to use in forming rock walls. We have gotten to grade the lot in preparation for the foundation to be poured. The view is going to be spectacular when he home is finished so stay with us to see it all the way to completion.

We’ve got footers and wall forms for the poured concrete walls. The shape of the house is becoming visible and more will be revealed as framing begins next. The foundations are in place now and things will move much quicker for the home to come to fruition.

This home’s story has hit a slight bump, we found boulders. When digging for the basement and foundation we found tons of rock, many very large. It takes more time to unearth them and haul them away. The following pictures show the sheer size and volume that have been dug up.

We discovered that this site had more large boulders than usual. We’ve dug up more rock than expected so the grading and digging of the basement has taken longer than initially scheduled. We discover as we dig but progress has been made and as you can see in the pictures we’re just about ready for the foundation to be poured. This home will be beautiful once we finish it.
