Creating a Home vol 45

The spaces we’re creating inside and out of the homes that we are building. I’m showcase a bit of everything from floor to ceiling as well as exterior touches to really make each home unique and inviting. The craftsmanship and customer style make each space a new area to explore and take pointers from.

A spacious back deck to enjoy the lake from.

A charming entrance with the tan siding and burgundy shutters with the stone framing the entry door.

A stone and wood fireplace in the living room adds warmth to the area.

The kitchen has an island and a peninsula bar for plenty of cooking prep space.

The honey spice cabinetry is off set by the warm tones in the granite countertops.

The kitchen features a double oven with a warming drawer beneath it.

The master shower has beautiful marble like tile in a white with gray veining.

The master shower has the same white and gray veined tile on both walls and floor.

The cast iron spindles have a spiral design adding a charming touch to the stairwell.

A very classy theater room to relax and enjoy a movie in.

This home is getting all the touches that begin the transformation into becoming a true home with shingles on the roof, siding and stone on the exterior along with insulation and drywall on the interior.

5-insulation — Insulation has been blown into the walls between the framing in preparation for drywall to be hung.

6-drywall — With the drywall being hung the rooms become even more defined in the home.

7-entry door — The entry door has been stained and installed, so lovely.

8-stone — Here you can see the cedar shake, wood siding and stone all coming together on the exterior of this home.

9-more stone — More stone is going up on the retaining walls and patio area.

The entry door has seeded glass with a circular inset design that is matched on the side-lites.

Above the door is an arched transom and the ceiling has crown molding.

The vaulted ceiling and wall meet in an architectural design element.

The master bath has a dual vanity with a tall linen cabinet between.

The upper deck features a painted vaulted T&G ceiling.

The entry patio frames the seeded glass door and side-lites with light brick.

A three car garage offers plenty of space for vehicles and lake toys.

The exterior of the home is completely done in the white brick.

The rear of the house has both an upper deck and a lower patio from the walk out basement.

The lower patio offers a shaded spot to enjoy the view of the lake.

The upper deck has a modern steel wire and cast iron railing.

We’ve got the garage being framed and tied into the home framing. White oak timbers are being delivered and those will make a huge impact in the design element of this home.

A lovely craftsman with great details in the stonework and wood trim.

A beautifully stained T&G ceiling with wood beams and skylights.

The windows all have a transom above that lets in extra natural light and adds an architectural detail.

The doorway and window trim match the crown molding.

A square coffered ceiling is featured in the great room.

The stone fireplace has a white mantle and built-ins flanking it.

A rectangular coffered ceiling adds a grand feeling to the master bedroom.

The tile surround for the tub has a geometric design.

The kitchen has cabinetry with a honey spice finish, granite countertops, pendant lights and a fan to keep the heat away.

The kitchen cabinets are set at varying heights to give more dimension to the design.

The granite for the raised bar is supported by corbels.

The house is almost ready for the finishing touches that really take it from construction to home. HVAC, electrical and plumbing are installed. The siding is in place along with columns awaiting stone.

The seat in the master shower is tiled in smaller travertine squares to match the larger ones on the shower walls.

The shower walls are accented with the geometric band.

A double vanity in a medium stain topped with a creamy white granite.

The master bath has a tray ceiling over the tub that adds a charming touch.

The tiled floor matches the tile surround for the tub.

The kitchen has wood cabinets topped with a heavily veined white granite and a tile backsplash in a diamond pattern.

These cabinets are made into a clever bench in the mud room.

The wooden cabinetry near the entry from the garage gives both convenient storage and a welcome spot to keep all the last minute neccesities.

Another tile shower that has a different geometric pattern for the accent band.

The theater room features a tray ceiling trimmed with crown molding.

A very spacious entertainment room in the walk out basement.

The drywall is fully installed and has been primed and painted. Cabinetry, railings for the deck, tile and stone on the fireplaces are being installed. This house is getting the finishing touches that make it a home.

This bunk room has gorgeous T&G and the oars as decoration are perfect for this fishing get away.

The welcoming sign fits beautifully with the cabin feel.

A small sitting area is both welcoming and charming.

The T&G stands out in a perfect woodsy charm.

The touches of charm make this room more than just a sleeping area.

Each bunk has a curtain enclosure for privacy.

The T&G is carried all the way around the interior of each bunk.

Each bunk has its own light, outlet and usb connection.

The cosy bunks are spacious enough for adults.

The dragonfly hooks are both convenient and charming.

Every fishing expedition needs this exterior shower for when they come in off the lake.

The vaulted ceilings and timbers are in place. On the exterior we’ve added steel I beams in a framework with metal roofing on top. We’ve begun framing the garage as well.
