Creating a Home vol 83

The spaces we’re creating inside and out of the homes that we are building. I’m showcase a bit of everything from floor to ceiling as well as exterior touches to really make each home unique and inviting. The craftsmanship and customer style make each space a new area to explore and take pointers from.

The gray and white trimmed home looks beautiful with the cedar deck to enjoy those lake views from.

The fantastic windows let in tons of natural light and offer awesome views of the lake from inside the home.

The entry porch leads tot he deck and the T&G in the same cedar give a cabin like appeal to the home.

The path to the lake is in matching cedar and makes for a lovely landscape.

The wooden stairs give you an easier access to the lake and dynamic landscaping

The entry door is stained to match the decking, has a dentil shelf and 6 glass panes for light and detail.

The back patio has charming cedar columns that decorate as well as hold up the deck above.

The exterior shower has the same cedar stain and offers a great place to rinse off after a long day on the lake.

This patio is a lovely shaded area to enjoy the lake from the walk out basement.

The rear of the home shows you the beautiful windows, fabulous deck and lovely patio all facing the lake.

The dock is sheltered and ready to harbor boats and other lake toys.

This house is receiving many of the custom craftsman touches that will make it unique. Shiplap, crown molding, T&G and interior trim in the stairwell as well as around all the windows, door ways and archways. Stone is being installed on the fireplaces to really add to the rustic charm to this home along with the beam work in place. We’re also installing the vanities in the bathrooms.

All the windows, doors and door ways are getting trimmed out. The large beam style adds a lovely rustic element.

This gorgeous house has been turned over to the home owners. It has lovely craftsman details in the stone work, wood trim and tile work.

The front exterior of this home has wood crows feet accents in the peaks, white columns and stone work on the column bases and feature walls.

The three car garage has a wide concrete pad in front and the stonework accents that match the house.

The great room has this gorgeous double-sided stone fireplace that extends all the way to the T&G ceiling.

The sitting area behind the fireplace with a beautiful view of the lake from those large windows.

The master bedroom has a feature wall all finished out with shiplap.

This barn door leads tot he master bathroom. This touch of rustic is a wonderful way to add an element of design to the space.

The master shower is a walk in tiled with travertine and having oil rubbed bronze faucets and fixtures.

The dining room is spacious enough to seat 10 comfortably with the bar right behind it. The bar features white glass doored cabinetry topped by a double layer of crown molding.

The kitchen features white recessed paneled cabinetry with a glaze, stainless steel appliances , granite countertops and a unique backsplash featuring copper tiles.

The island features a charming stone work on the back side.

The exterior stone work is charming and beautiful.

This house has been completed and turned over to the home owners. The details are custom and stunning.

1-IMG_2393 — The driveway slopes gently down to the 3 car garage, the stone and wood details are both charming and lovely.

2-IMG_2385 — The front entry features a patio with slate stone, stone worked columns, cedar beams, carriage lights and an entry door with dark stain framing 6 panes of glass. It truly shows that craftsman style.

3-IMG_2387 — The 3 car garage features bay doors that are of a carriage style in a cedar finish all trimmed with wooden details and more carriage lights.

4-IMG_2381 — The rear exterior of the home has more stone work on the back patio and showcases the screened-in porch. All those windows look out over the lake.

5-IMG_2390 — These gorgeous stone steps lead you down to the lake. Using these in the landscaping brings a beautiful element to the homes design.

6-IMG_2369 — This gorgeous outdoor shower with a stone wall is the perfect spot to rinse off the lake water after fishing or just cool down on a hot day.

7-IMG_2363 — The back patio has a polished concrete floor, wood and steel cable railings and a beautiful stone fireplace to make it an all year around space to relax in and enjoy the view.

8-IMG_2307 — The screened-in porch also features a stone fireplace. The wooden beam mantle gives a rustic element along with the cedar trim and T&G ceiling.

9-IMG_2295 — The great room has a grand element of design on the vaulted ceiling with all these intersecting beams. They run from the kitchen through the dining room and into the family room. The lighting fixtures are the perfect highlight for this ceiling.

10-IMG_2287 — The family room features not only the vaulted ceiling with the beams but a large stone floor to ceiling fireplace flanked by built-ins and accented with a heavy wooden mantle.

11-IMG_2296 — The kitchen as viewed from the dining room. It features white shaker style cabinetry on the walls, a dark peppercorn cabinetry for the island to offer a contrast, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, an apron sink and lovely light gray patterned tile for the backsplash.

12-IMG_2355 — The walk out basement has this charming sliding barn door that leads into a full bath. The dark stain is a rich contrast to the gray walls and white trim.

13-IMG_2349 — The walk out basement also has this amazing wine room with wall racks and cabinet storage. This is a fabulous custom touch to this home.

14-IMG_2348 — The walk out basement’s entertainment area has another stone fireplace flanked by dark wooden built-ins. The mantle is a thick beam with iron bands that adds a rustic design element.

The screened-in porch is very spacious and has both lounging and dining areas.

The view from the screened-in porch is a wooded lake view.

The fireplace on the screened-in porch makes it into an all-weather living space.

The vaulted T&G ceiling on the screened-in porch adds a charming craftsman element.

The wood trim adds a rustic craftsman touch to the design.

The deck has wonderful views of the lake and is a lovely spot to relax in.

The wood work on the deck has dark stain on the railings and iron pickets.

The entrance features wood columns, board and baton siding and light gray stone.

The front of the home is bright and inviting.

The master shower has a floating corner seat and penny tile floor in grey tones.

The master shower walls are a grey subway tile with a glass tile accent band.

The brushed nickel floating shelf for towels matches the edging on the shower and the mirror frame above the vanity.

The master bedroom opens up to the back deck and has a lovely view of the lake.

The master bedroom features and accent wall in a softly stained T&G.

The living room also has an accent wall in the same T&G.

The chandelier over the dining table adds a rustic element to the design.

The barn door is hung to separate the mud and laundry rooms from the rest of the home and also brings in that rustic element.

The master shower has a penny tile floor in a light grey with a floating seat.

The walls of the master shower are a beautiful arabesque shape in grey with a waterfall accent band.

The arabesque tiles reach the ceiling and the brushed nickel faucet looks fantastic with the design.

The screened-in porch has a vaulted ceiling that’s accented with T&G.

The home is almost complete. Hardware for the glass shower doors has been installed. The vent for the cooktop is completed, and mirrors have been hung over the vanities. Lights are hung in every room and the house is ready for the home owners.

The grey exterior looks refreshing and clean.

The dining room is open to the kitchen and great room making for a wonderful entertaining space.

The kitchen cabinetry is a white shaker style and the appliances are stainless steel.

The glass fronted cabinets flanking the cooktop open the space up.

The granite on both the island and kitchen surround is a lovely cloudy gray.

The kitchen features a backsplash of blue subway tile that add a colorful pop in the design.

The entry doors has 2 side lites and matching glass inserts.

The great room is open and inviting from the kitchen to the living area.

The island features gray cabinetry with a barn door design on the ends.

The back wall of the great room has T&G as a feature wall.

The mantle and beams match providing a rustic element to the home.

This barn door adds another rustic element to the design.

The screened-in porch has gorgeous thick rustic posts supporting everything and adding a cabin like feeling to the space.

The stone fireplace makes this space into an all-weather entertaining space.

The vaulted ceiling is covered with T&G and stained a lovely dusty brown.

The spacious screened-in porch has plenty of space for seating and relaxing with company.

With the television mounted above the fireplace this becomes a second den.

The T&G mixed with the beams and posts create a rustic style.

The home has a large covered deck as well as the screened-in porch all painted white with wood accents.

The home has a victorian mixed with craftsman style that welcomes you.

The screened-in porch carries the wooden trim to the exterior on the stairs and lattice work.

The clear views from the screened-in porch make it a great place to relax and enjoy the lake from.

The front porch features a pop of color with the teal door that brings a charming touch to it.

The home is getting more stone installed on the chimney with the help of a crane. Slate and hardwood flooring are going in. The interior doors have been delivered and so has a large glass door for the lake side that took extra hands to get it inside the home.
