Creating a Home vol 60

The spaces we’re creating inside and out of the homes that we are building. I’m showcase a bit of everything from floor to ceiling as well as exterior touches to really make each home unique and inviting. The craftsmanship and customer style make each space a new area to explore and take pointers from.

Rippling Cove-Keowee-17

The house is getting more stonework on the exterior and the chimney. The steel arches are being raised into place. The beams are being stained and the electrical installed.

All the previously installed beams are getting stained before they are wrapped to protect them from the sheet rock that will soon be going in.

The chimney is receiving its stonework.

The electrical boxes for the exterior are installed as well.

The exterior trim is being delivered.

This home is getting the finishing custom touches the really define the house as a craftsman home. The wood work detailing is beautiful and shows the personal craftmanship of the carpenter. The tile work is also beautifully executed. This home is a true piece of artwork.

From cedar shake, tile, trim and beams this home is becoming a show piece. All these touches are part of a true custom hame.

We’re installing cedar shake and running electrical for the screened-in porch.

The trim is being installed around all the doors and windows.
3-shower tile
Rectangular subway tile is in place for this shower with a gray accent band at the top.
4-T&G
The T&G is beautifully stained.
5-interior mantle
The fireplace has its mantle in place.
6-wood countertop
A lovely dark wooden countertop has been installed on this shelving.

The screened-in porch has all the columns in place.

The home is getting more of those finishing touches to really make it a gorgeous home. The tile for the firebox on the fireplace, T&G on the archway, insulation and stonework. We even have a morning view of the lake to tempt one and all.

The fireplace has herringbone tile for the firebox.

Backfilling so that the ground meets the home and provides proper drainage.

Gorgeous T&G archway being created.

Spray foam insulation is being put in.

Beautiful metal arches to support the stone work.
