Creating a Home vol 60

The spaces we’re creating inside and out of the homes that we are building. I’m showcase a bit of everything from floor to ceiling as well as exterior touches to really make each home unique and inviting. The craftsmanship and customer style make each space a new area to explore and take pointers from.

The entry way with dark hardwood flooring and lovely furnishings.

The cast iron pickets have a wave to them that add a gorgeous architectural element.

The house is getting more stonework on the exterior and the chimney. The steel arches are being raised into place. The beams are being stained and the electrical installed.

1-continueing stonework — The home continues to get more stone installed.

2-electrical — The electrical boxes are going in.

3-tub install — The tub is now being installed.

4-staining the beams — All the previously installed beams are getting stained before they are wrapped to protect them from the sheet rock that will soon be going in.

5-steel arches — The steel arches are being raised into place.

6-stone for the chimney — The chimney is receiving its stonework.

7-electrical — The electrical boxes for the exterior are installed as well.

8-Exterior trim delivery — The exterior trim is being delivered.

The wet bar has warm cabinetry and is ready to serve.

The sitting room has extra storage with these built-ins that are stained a honey tone.

The trim work is ornate and beautiful throughout the whole home.

The fireplace on the screened-in porch has stone work framed by T&G.

The screened-in porch features a fireplace with a large hearth and plenty of space to enjoy the lake view.

A picnic table is the perfect extra dining feature for the porch.

The T&G is stained a honey tone and warms the space perfectly.

The archways are charming and the wood trim around them accents the entire room.

The guest room upstairs is charming and warmly welcoming.

The front of the home showcases the columns and stonework all accented by the landscaping.

The two car garage has an apartment attached.

The home is receiving tile and stone work. The fireplace mantle have been installed and exterior painting is progressing. The home is getting all the touches that make it a home that shines.

Beautiful hardwood floors add a warm glow to the side entrance for this home.

The multi dimensional cabinetry bring another layer of interest to the kitchen.

The contrasting cabinetry in the kitchen between the wooden honey toned wall cabinets on the walls and the white for the island are a very classic look.

The hood and surrounding cabinetry for the cooktop echo the fireplace cooking of an older time period.

The ledge on the hood gives the perfect spot for a decorators touch.

This home is getting the finishing custom touches the really define the house as a craftsman home. The wood work detailing is beautiful and shows the personal craftmanship of the carpenter. The tile work is also beautifully executed. This home is a true piece of artwork.

The open dining room is lovely.

The columns and trim to designate the dining room are very ornate and charming.

This high window lets the sunlight into the great room.

The windows and french doors all have transom windows above to open up the space and let in lots of natural light.

The arched doorways add old world charm to the home.

The french doors in the master bedroom also have the high transom windows to let in the light.

The tray ceiling is all trimmed with crown molding in a double stack.

From cedar shake, tile, trim and beams this home is becoming a show piece. All these touches are part of a true custom hame.

1-cedar shake — We’re installing cedar shake and running electrical for the screened-in porch.

2-door trim — The trim is being installed around all the doors and windows.

3-shower tile — Rectangular subway tile is in place for this shower with a gray accent band at the top.

4-T&G — The T&G is beautifully stained.

5-interior mantle — The fireplace has its mantle in place.

6-wood countertop — A lovely dark wooden countertop has been installed on this shelving.

7-SIP — The screened-in porch has all the columns in place.

8-ceiling beams — The beams for the great room and kitchen are all in place.

The barrel flower stand is a charming touch for the front entrance.

The cabins front entry porch is warm and welcoming.

This side view shows just how much T&G siding is wrapped around the home.

The dock has a pergola to offer shade and a spot to enjoy the view right on the lake.

This craftsman has a majestic entrance.

The garage offers a wonderful workspace with lots of natural light.

The front entry has a flagstone patio, stone based columns, slate steps and dual side lites flanking the door all covered by a breezeway with T&G.

The outdoor grilling kitchen is all faced with stone work to match.

The flagstone patio blends beautifully with the landscape.

The stamped concrete leads to the patio and outdoor kitchen area.

This pergola offers shade to the outdoor dining side patio.

Another table is set up on the rear patio to offer a lovely view of the lake.

The home is getting more of those finishing touches to really make it a gorgeous home. The tile for the firebox on the fireplace, T&G on the archway, insulation and stonework. We even have a morning view of the lake to tempt one and all.

1-Fireplace — The fireplace has herringbone tile for the firebox.

2-backfill — Backfilling so that the ground meets the home and provides proper drainage.

3-exterior archway — Gorgeous T&G archway being created.

4-insulation — Spray foam insulation is being put in.

5-metal arches — Beautiful metal arches to support the stone work.

6-exterior — The rear elevation in progress.

7-stonework siding — Stone being installed on the exterior of the home.

8-the view — The absolutely beautiful view that will be had from this home.
